Visual Music : Visual Bach

Visual Music is the visualisation and computational analysis of musical structure, focusing on symmetry and transformation.

Visual Music : Visual Bach focuses on the great German composer, Johann Sebastian Bach's last work, The Art of Fugue (AoF). The melodic motif that is being repeated and transformed in AoF is mirrored visually using geometrical structures.

Visual Music is a collaboration between Rex Guo and Tim Poston.

Symmetry I

Symmetry I is a visualisation of the first fugue from J.S.Bach's The Art of Fugue.
